Really, really enjoyed myself here. The service was IMPECCABLE and staff were so friendly. I had the King crab linguine and… More calamari, both were divine. Also, their kumara bread is out of this world. I'd literally go daily just for that bread!
Absolutely blown away by this place and can’t wait to come back with my parents, my Dad will love it! Fantastic service… More from all of the staff, very friendly, helpful and attentive. The food was totally divine. The smoked kahawai croquettes were sooo delicious, as were the soft shell crab sliders! The seafood linguine was totally moreish and the fish n chips were lovely and fresh, the chips had a yummy seasoning to them. Fabulous selection of drinks on offer too 🥂
Just got back home from an amazing Mother's Day dinner. There was a bit of a mix up with our reservation but was solved… More on the spot by the host/manager (Waiheke dude w/ cool red beanie).
We were told that because of the small mix up that they weren't expecting anymore reservations that night and that they were already in the process of closing the kitchen. Being a worker in hospo myself, I definitely understand the struggle of having unexpected guests come in as you're in the middle of closing the venue and have them order a sh*t tonne of food but nonetheless, from the moment we walked in we were treated with nothing but the best service and even though we ordered like a 100 things and maybe forced them to open up their kitchen again we were still served with just amazing food (to say the least). The food was amazing, the ambiance of the venue was spectacular, the staff were nothing but absolute f*cking legends for pulling through for us, and finally of course my mum left the restaurant with a full belly and just THE best time.
To the Host/Manager that served us, 3 things.. 1. Really hope you got your ferry home lol. 2. That fit you was rocking, the red beanie with the blue shirt... just str8 fire.🔥 3. The oysters. Thank you.

Sardines! Very fresh, grilled, served with bloody Mary dressing. The chef had removed the spine so you can eat everything… More but the tail fin! They are so good!. We added trevally ceviche, authentic, and croquettes. We'll be back!!
